The final was held at Atkin Grant & Lang over in St Albans. A number of teams did not field eight shooters, including Kingswood. This was possibly because of the distance. We must congratulate Mark C fo his fifth position overall. Kingswood managed a fifth position in the final and sixth overall.

Akeley League shoot 11th November 2018
The league shoot was held at Akeley on a dry day despite the rain on Sunday. What a difference from The Kingswood leg a month before where we set up in the dry and then had to contend with the Sunday rain. So if you missed the clays, see where you should have been aiming. Practice Shoot at Doddershall 9th October
We had a superb attendance today and the weather was very kind to us. Some excellent shooting and we welcomed two new members in Joanna and George P(new junior). Also a guest in James C.
The shoot this Sunday was without the aid of DB Guns traps, so we could only shoot three stands at a time. During the T break the stands were rejigged and we continued with shoot with three new targets.

We are very lucky that the local land owners let us use the fields so please can everyone check what cartridges they have in there bags before they start shooting. Please remember these fields are used for grazing.

Fred Dymock Trophy and BBQ 2nd September 2018
What a wonderful day we all had yesterday and to top it all the sun shone.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped to make the day such a success, there are too many to mention by name but you all know who you are. The shooting set up was brilliant and I hope that everyone had enough to eat at the BBQ.

Welsh shoot at Kingswood 19th August
The return match was held at Quainton with a great layout setup by Brian from DB Guns. The shoot was the usual 72 bird shoot we have on this fixture. Seven stands with 10 pairs on each stand, and twelve on stand one.
The overall result was we were again beaten by the Saint Brides Major by a very narrow margin.
Afterwards there a an enjoyable Sunday lunch at The Crown Twyford.
