Great day shooting yesterday and very good turnout.

We welcomed a new member in George and two guests in Geoff  and Brock, both of whom have expressed a desire to join the Club.

To finish off we had a 2 man flurry which was enjoyed by all although the scoring was a bit adrift so i have not counted them in.

League shoot at Akeley – 11th February

The league shoot was held at Akeley. Parking on the road because of the water soaked field. Thought is was going to be a cold shoot, but further up the field the hedge sheltered us from the wind. The sunshine made it almost a pleasant day. Kingswood came fifth overall, and our high gun Dan shot a 37.

There was a very good turnout for the practice shoot at Doddershall this Sunday. I little on the cold side, bight and sunny, but a little breeze to increase the chill factor. Some surprising scores today.

League shoot at Poundon – 14th January

The Crown hosted the 1st leg of the Winter League shoot on the 14th January at Poundon. The previous Winter League event had been cancelled due to snow.  This has been rescheduled to the 25th March and will be hosted by Kingswood, probably at our Quainton shooting ground.

The Poundon shoot had some taxing targets.  A short video of some of the Kingswood team shooting one stand in a corridor between the barn and other agricultural artefacts

The Kingswood Gun Club practice shoot took place this Sunday at our Quainton ground. The cold weather and snow put a few shooters off. Those you braved the inclement weather enjoyed a good shoot and some lemon drizzle cake at the break.

Our first practice shoot of the new year was held at Doddershall. Bright sunny day, with a cold stiff Easterly breeze kept as all cool. A good turn up with some new faces.  Next week there is the league shoot at Poundon.
