The Fred Dymock Trophy shoot was held on the 17th of December at our Ludgershall shooting ground. The organisers worked hard setting up the shoot, having to move many of the traps by hand owing to the soggy land. Thankfully, the rain held off during the shoot. Thank you to the many who stayed behind to help move the traps back into the trailers at the end of the shoot.

The shoot was the usual 50 bird, 5 stand shoot, with an added four-person flurry shoot at the tea break.

After the shoot and clear up, we made our way back to the village hall where there was a worthy feast awaiting us and our partners. An incredibly special thanks to the committee and helpers for providing a lovely Christmas meal.

During the meal, the shooting prizes were given out. The Fred Dymock trophy is a handicap shoot, and four randomly (?) selected results from previous shoots were used to seed the result. There were also prizes for various High Gun Categories.
