An extra shoot was organised for the 5th Sunday of the month. This was a welcome shoot to offset the shoots we missed earlier in the season. There were some difficult targets in today’s shoot. The two slow incoming clays looked deceptively easy, how come so many missed the right-hand clay. Who set up stand 5 with the two left to right crossing targets. The first of the pair was hittable as it came to a stop in front of you. The second target, landing not far away was apparently impossible. I never saw one broken. Collecting the clays at the end of the day reinforced this observation. The high score of 37 was confirmation of the difficult targets. We only get better by testing ourselves.
