Our first shoot since the start of Lockdown was held at Doddershall. The shoot was held in a different format than usual. Members-only and pre-booking were required to shoot. We were grouped into squads of six before arrival. On arrival, a short introductory briefing on how we were to proceed around the shoot, how to button and score the cards. Hand sanitiser was available on all the stands. There were 39 shooters, so six squads of six and three more to shoot after the six squads had competed.

After we had shot we immediately left, leaving behind Brian, Eli and Dawn to clear up. A really great thank you to DB Guns for running this shoot for us. The weather was good, it was nice to be out shooting in the pleasant countryside in shorts and tee shirt again. We must not forget the landowners who let us shoot on their fields. Without them, we could not pursue our sport.
